As Kimberely Koch seeks reelection to the Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors, residents and watchdogs are raising serious concerns about her record—or lack thereof—on accountability, justice, and transparency.
Koch campaigned on a platform of “community-first leadership.” Nevertheless, Koch has remained silent on critical issues affecting Whitpain Township. These issues include discrimination cases, alleged civil rights violations, and police misconduct under Chief Ken Lawson.
Among the most heartbreaking cases is that of Donte Perez Jones. He was a young Black man. His death has sparked outrage and demands for an independent investigation. Yet Koch and the Board have offered no meaningful response. Instead, community members say Koch has enabled a culture of silence and denial.
Legal issues continue to mount in Whitpain, but accountability remains elusive. Rather than addressing serious concerns, Supervisor Koch appears more focused on re-election than reform. Many in the community now call her “Crooked Kim”. This nickname reflects growing frustration with her failure to act in the face of injustice.
As Whitpain residents head to the polls, they wonder who is really looking out for the people of this township.
Kimberely “Crooked Kim” Koch is a Central Bucks School District teacher. She is also a current member of the Whitpain Township Supervisors. She claims to be on the board of Montgomery County Community College. However, there is no record of her on their website.
